This delightful region in the heart of the Allgäu Alps is rich in natural beauty. The Tyrolean way of life and vitality is a an important feature of the Tannheimer Tal, and makes all guests feel like they have arrived in their new home. The sun shines on the mountains which are waiting to be explored by hikers, bikers, and climbers, just as the beautiful lakes, creeks, and forests. During winter, time can be spent on the ski slopes and cross-country ski tracks leading through the winter wonderland. This valley is sometimes referred to as the most beautiful high-alpine valley in Europe, with the imposing mountain peaks of the Allgäu Alps, the wide blue skies, the lush green meadows, and the rustic traditional farmhouses ensuring a unique landscape.
